Carnival Cruise Line
CAMP CARNIVAL provides daily complimentary, supervised, fun-filled and age appropriate activities for children between 2 and 15 years old. The goal is to create an environment similar to what children would experience at a summer camp. Each ship has an indoor and an outdoor play area and operates everyday from early morning until 10 pm free of charge. Camp Carnival offers morning, afternoon and evening activities as well as supervised free play and homework help. Babysitting takes place every evening in the form of a slumber/pajama party from 10am to 3 am. The charge for this service is $5/hour for the first child in a family and $3/hour for each additional sibling. This fee is charged directly to the guests' Sail and Sign accounts. The Camp also provides "Children's Only" dinners on all formal nights. These dinners take place in the Lido Restaurant from 6pm-7pm.Celebrity Cruises
Century is more than a fabulous new ship for grown-ups to discover. It is a children's paradise as well. In addition to the activities of the Family Cruising Program, Century offers kids and their parents a wide range of family-style accommodations and the Fun Factory.
The Fun Factory is the kids' headquarters aboard Century. Enter through a brightly colored door featuring animated "bubblers" and a fiber-optic light tunnel. Once inside, kids will find framed activity boards that highlight the day's events. A variety of colorfully textured "walls" create small neighborhoods within the room for different types of activities. Surrounded by a foam coral reef is a sea of colored balls in which young children can safely play. Inside the reef, kids old enough to use a computer discover an interactive learning center full of information about the world's oceans, marine life and ships. The yellow submarine is the "secret" location of state-of-the-art computer games and computerized drawing pads.
Century features Celebrity's popular Family Cruising Program, specially designed for three age groups and closely supervised by trained counselors and staff. A daily program provides a complete list of events for each age group such as T-shirt painting, magic workshops, karaoke, cartoons, parties, and more. Each group participates in activities like Celebrity Summer Stock Theater, produced and directed by the Ensigns (ages 13-17) and starring the Ship Mates (ages 3-7) and the Celebrity Cadets (ages 8-12). Century has 84 adjoining cabins, offering parents privacy while providing easy access to the kids' room. Additionally, 111 cabins have been created to accommodate four passengers comfortably, and 27 cabins that can accommodate five.
The Century is a fantastic adventure...for children of all ages.**** The Celebrity Kids' Program is personally recommended by our kids: Christina (age 13), Jennifer (age 11), and Stephanie (age 8).
